There are traditionally considered to be 18 major Puranas in Hinduism. Here is a list of all the Puranas:

Each of these Puranas contains a collection of mythological stories, legends, genealogies of deities, cosmology, philosophy, and moral teachings. They serve as important sources of Hindu mythology, religious rituals, and cultural traditions.

It’s worth noting that within each major Purana, there are often different versions and recensions, and regional variations may exist as well. Additionally, there are also numerous Upapuranas (sub-Puranas) and other minor Puranas, which explore specific aspects or focus on particular deities or geographical regions.

The Puranas collectively provide a comprehensive understanding of Hindu mythology, cosmology, and religious practices.
